Well, the house is offically closed. There was one thing, beyond the wear and tear, which was a hole in the wallboard at the back of the garage.
The house looked quite clean; I cleaned the oven and refrigerator. Penny said the counter would be replaced. And of course painted.
She doesn't think that anyone is interested yet, but she said they would be fixing it up very quickly, because if someone was interested they would want a larger home (like Dad's).
Anyway, I hope it sells fast!

Thanks again, Cathy for all your work in helping to get the house ready to hand over! Did Penny sign off on the form? You mention the wallboard had a hole - do you think they will bill us for repairing this?
I also hope it sells fast - glad to hear they think the style is one of the popular ones - being larger. I always thought it had a pretty nice layout.
Penny signed it after adding the hole in the garage wall statement.
Thanks for bringing up the idea of the form and inspection. Makes it seem more official. Who knows what else they would have thought to comment on?
There was also a hole in the door next to front door. It had been patched but with opening up the door for the couch it got pushed in again.
I don't know if she will charge or not for the damage.
