Mr Dancy Update Wednesday
Upon arrival Mr Dancy was awake and rested and ready to get up immediately. He began his day with his regular morning routine of care. He ate breakfast and then participated in a card game and was really into this game for approximately 1hour or longer. He then walked inside the house very short distance both morning and afternoon. He seem much more normal than Monday able to move more quickly and stand up straight very well balanced in walking. Upon entering his room he went into a talking session still talking about this card game and money for about almost one hour continuously. He rested a little and had lunch and rested again and then i exercised his legs again and he rested the remainder or the day.

This evening Dad seems to be doing much better than the other day. Much stronger in sit to stand, walking, sitting, etc. More aware when toileting (initiated pulling his own pants down for example), brushing his teeth, undressing, etc. Made a mention of "setting aside money for Fay and John for food." RIght now he is in his new red pajamas that Ken gave him for Christmas and is sitting in the chair in his room watching the Laker game before bed.
I am glad Dad is having a good evening! I am sure he likes the colorful pjs.
Fay and John had lived with Grandma after they got married shortly after the depression. So maybe he feels about the same age that Ryland is now!
